Find some answers to common questions below.
HOW DO I MAKE AN APPOINTMENT?
You may contact me by phone or email. Please leave me your phone number and some possible times that you may be available for an initial conversation by phone, which usually takes about 30 minutes. We can discuss what has you reaching out for therapy, how I may be of assistance, and my approach to therapy. We will also set an agreed upon fee, regular meeting time, and address any other questions that you may have about the process.
HOW LONG ARE THE SESSIONS?
Sessions will typically be 50 minutes in length for individuals, and 75 minutes for couples. We will arrange a regular time and day to meet on a weekly basis. You may also choose to come more than once a week. I accept cash, checks, and credit cards. Payment is due at each session. If you need to cancel, and notify me before 24 hours of our scheduled meeting, you will not be charged for the session. I offer a limited number of adjusted fee sessions during the day and throughout the week.
DO YOU TAKE INSURANCE?
I am an out of network provider for most insurance plans. This means that I will provide you with a monthly Superbill for you to submit to your insurance for reimbursement. The session fee will be paid in full at the time of the session, and you will be responsible for obtaining reimbursement from your insurance company. Please check with your provider first, as your deductibles and co-pay will depend on your specific insurance provider and plan.
